Browse old and second hand wellness equipment listed by people across India — treadmills, exercise cycles, dumbbells and home gym gear, massagers, BP monitors, and home medical equipment such as oxygen concentrators, wheelchairs and hospital beds. Much of it is bought for a need that passes, so lightly used items come up often.
Contact the seller directly, test the item in person and arrange pickup between you. Olditems takes no commission and never handles payment or delivery.
Fitness equipment
- Treadmills. Run it at several speeds and inclines. Listen for motor strain and belt slipping, check the belt for fraying and the deck for wear, and confirm the emergency stop key works.
- Exercise cycles and cross-trainers. Pedal through all resistance levels. Check the seat adjustment, the console and for clicking from the crank.
- Weights and benches. Look for rust, cracked plates and loose collars, and check the bench frame and upholstery for wobble and tears.
Large machines are heavy. Ask whether they fold or come apart, and measure your door and lift before you buy.
Massagers and personal devices
Test every mode and speed. Check that heads and attachments are included and that the charger or adapter works. Anything that touches skin should be cleaned and disinfected before use.
BP monitors and other measuring devices
A used blood pressure monitor or glucometer is only useful if it measures accurately. Ask about its age, check the cuff for leaks and cracks, and compare a reading with one taken at a clinic or pharmacy. Some brands offer calibration checks at service centres. Never buy used consumables — test strips, lancets, cuff liners or anything past its expiry date.
Oxygen concentrators and medical equipment
Talk to your doctor before buying any used medical device. They can tell you what specification you need, such as the oxygen flow rate. For a used oxygen concentrator, ask for the service history and running hours, check that it delivers the rated output and oxygen purity (the seller or a service centre can test this), and buy new filters, tubing and nasal cannulas. Check wheelchairs for brakes and tyres, and hospital beds for smooth cranks or motors and firm side rails.
