Olditems never handles the money — you pay the seller directly. Inspect the item first, meet in a public place in daylight, and never pay an advance, token amount or "delivery fee" to someone you have not met.
Most ads in Mumbai are collect-in-person. Some sellers will arrange delivery at your cost — agree that with them before you pay anything.
